Portland Cement (Type I, ASTM C 150)

A Portland cement for use in precast, prestressed architectural concrete, cast-in-place structural concrete, terrazzo, stucco, concrete blocks, tile grout, and mortars. This product is used in general construction applications where the special properties specified for any other type are not required.

TEXAS LEHIGH PORTLAND CEMENT (TYPE II, ASTM C 150)

A Portland cement for use in applications (similar to Type I) where a low alkali cement is recommended. ASTM C 150 details the Type II description by stating: For general use, more especially when moderate sulfate resistance or moderate heat of hydration is desired.

TEXAS LEHIGH MASONRY CEMENT (TYPE N, ASTM C 91)

A masonry cement that provides excellent and long-lasting workability, high water retention, maximum yield, and uniform color. When mixed with proper amounts of sand (ASTM C 144) this product will meet the requirements of ASTM C 270 (proportion specification) for Type N mortar.

TEXAS LEHIGH MASONRY CEMENT (TYPE S, ASTM C 91)

A masonry cement designed for those applications where additional mortar strength is required. When mixed with proper amounts of sand (ASTM C 144), this product will meet the requirements of ASTM C 270 (proportion specification) for Type S mortar.

TEXAS LEHIGH WELL CEMENT (CLASS A, API SPEC 10A)

Intended for use from surface to a depth of 6000 ft when special properties are not required. Available only in Ordinary type (similar to ASTM C150, Type I).

TEXAS LEHIGH WELL CEMENT (CLASS H, API SPEC 10A)

Intended for use as a basic cement from surface to a depth of 8000 ft as manufactured. This cement can be used with accelerators and retarders at a wide range of depths and temperatures. It is specified that no additions except calcium sulfate or water, or both, shall be interground or blended with the clinker during the manufacture of Class H cement. Class H cement is available in High Sulfate Resistant type.
